Scientist Low awakens after years of being in a coma to discover that his invention has completely changed the world around him. All of humanity has become connected via a digital network and only exists as digital information. An ocean of beautiful memories, sweet thoughts and blissful experiences, where death has been conquered and grief and depression have become things of the past. As the only remaining human being of flesh and blood, Low goes in search of his wife Roxanne in this digital universe and is faced with the choice: will you go along with the inevitable progress or will you be left alone?

Disconnect is an audiovisual performance about the malleability of humans and the value of imperfection.
